Some of the (many) news and feature articles I published over the years can be found on the internet. Others, such as the yearly article on the Netherlands in the American Jewish Yearbook, are just too long to read on this blog. Some, only available in hard copy, have been left behind in one of my various country moves. Here is one feature that miraculously survived: 'Hiding behind Anne Frank'. It was published while the Netherlands were grappling with wartime restitution issues in the May/June issue of the B'nai Brith Jewish Monthly, 1999. "The myth of hospitable Holland crumbles as its citizens face their wartime past", the Monthly wrote. But though almost a museum piece, this is still very readable.
